EAST CHARLOTTE - Three people were arrested Wednesday morning after Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers served a drug warrant at a home next door to a daycare.

The bust happened in the 3400 block of Central Avenue next to Tele-Time Academy daycare center.

WBTV cameras captured at least two people taken out of the house in handcuffs.

Desmond Nelson, 21, is charged with Possession with intent to distribute concaine, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance within 300 feet of school and other drug and gun charges.

Sekeena Woodard, 39, is charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphenalia.

Alexis Jackson, 29 was arrested on an outstanding warrant, unrelated to drugs.

One woman dropping her 3-year-old daughter off at Tele-Time Tuesday morning was not surprised to hear of police activity nextt door.

She told WBTV that many people at the alleged drug house would hassle her on a daily basis as she dropped off and picked up her child.
